LAION brings together researchers, engineers, and contributors from around the world. Our mission is to broaden access to large-scale machine-learning research through public datasets, models, and code.
Research that others can build on
We develop resources that researchers can inspect, evaluate, and reuse. Publishing methods and tools alongside research results helps others reproduce experiments and investigate their limitations.
Our work spans multimodal datasets, open models, training and evaluation tools, and educational assistants. Each release documents its own access conditions and intended uses.
